Black Lace

I planted a Sambucus “Black Lace” a year ago. It was my husband’s choice as he likes acers and that kind of thing. I read up on it and realised I should have cut it back in September. This explains why it’s a bit leggy. I will make sure I prune it at the end of the summer to strengthen it as much as possible.

Anyway it’s flowered in the last three days.

    1. Thanks! I’m worried it’s a bit weak and when they all flower the flowers will weigh it down(!) 😆

    1. I’m really pleased with ours. It’s doubled in size in a year but then I never pruned it! 😆
