Earlier today I popped into my local Waitrose and saw this Emma Bridgewater jute bag supporting Tusk. Now, I love Emma Bridgewater and I love Waitrose but I didn’t know anything about Tusk so did a quick google. And now I love Tusk.
Tusk is essentially a charity that has been helping fund conservation, community development and environmental education across Africa for over 25 years. They’re awesome and you can read more about them by clicking here.
I love a good cause and particularly like to support African wildlife. Once you’ve seen big cats in the wild you’ll never want to see them in a zoo again. As we all know many African species are under threat from poachers and trophy hunters so I always like to support in any way I can, even if it’s just a little gesture.
I would think these bags will be available in most branches. There are a couple of colourways to choose from and they cost £5 each. Waitrose will donate 50p from the sale of each bag to Tusk. Who doesn’t need a jute bag? I use mine for everything!
